Custom LED Displays

An LED display is made up of many integrated components, but can be described minimally as having a cabinet, LED modules, power supplies, communication boards, and a cooling system (a content controller and player software are normally included as well).  Standard displays are typically available “off the shelf” in pre-made sizes and shapes with few options for special applications or customization.  Multimedia LED does not manufacture LED signs in standard sizes, but works with each customer on a custom product that will perfectly fit their specific needs and application.

Multimedia LED’s custom displays will require specially designed components, most frequently these being cabinets and LED modules, in order to complete the custom design. For example, FUSE Networks in New York City uses three foot high, full-color channel letters, which required custom-built cabinets and electronics to be separated from the main modules. Another example, ABC 7 Chicago, uses three different sized 12mmE7 modules to make the 40-foot tall, four-sided, 90-degree, helix-twist display. Specialized mechanical and electrical engineering is required to complete designs such as these.  Many projects can be completed in less than 90 days from contract and deposit.  Larger spectacular-type projects may require additional production time depending on the customization required.
